1. About These Terms
Welcome to Lucentius. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us.
Please read these Terms carefully before ordering. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
Important: Lucentius is a hobby business. I am not a registered company. I do not have a CVR / VAT / company registration number. I sell handmade products as a private individual pursuing a creative passion, not as a professional merchant.

I am not a professional retailer. I am a maker. A hobbyist. A creative soul who sells objects because I love making them, not because I run a commercial enterprise.
3. No Liability for Use of Products
This is the most important section. Please read carefully.
All products sold by Lucentius are handmade craft items. They are created with care, attention, and passion. However:
3.1 Candles
Candles are fire. Fire is dangerous if used improperly.
I am not responsible for any damage, injury, fire, or loss caused by improper use of candles.
You assume all risk when lighting a candle.
Follow all safety instructions: never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children and pets, trim wick to 0.6 cm before each burn, do not burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time, place on a heat-resistant surface.
3.2 Posture Corrector Belt
The posture corrector belt is a wellness support product, not a medical device.
I am not a doctor, physiotherapist, or medical professional.
I am not responsible for any injury, discomfort, pain, or medical condition resulting from use of the posture corrector.
Consult a doctor before using if you have any pre-existing condition (spinal issues, fractures, osteoporosis, arthritis, pregnancy, etc.).
Discontinue use immediately if you experience pain, numbness, tingling, or discomfort.
3.3 3D Printed Miniatures
Miniatures contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 14 years without adult supervision.
I am not responsible for choking hazards or injuries caused by misuse.
3.4 Concrete Decor
Concrete is a durable material but can break if dropped.
I am not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, cleaning, or placement.
3.5 General Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

4. Products – Handmade Disclaimer
All Lucentius products are handmade by me, in my home workshop.
Because they are handmade:
✅ Slight variations in colour, texture, size, and weight are normal and not defects
✅ Each piece is unique – no two are exactly identical
✅ Imperfections (tiny air bubbles, minor surface irregularities) are signatures of craftsmanship, not flaws
If you require perfect, machine-made uniformity, please do not purchase handmade goods.
5. Orders and Payment
5.1 How to Order
Browse my website, add items to your cart, and complete checkout. You will receive an email confirmation when I receive your order.
5.2 Payment Methods
I accept payments via [insert your payment methods – e.g., Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer]. All payments are processed securely by third-party providers. I do not store your payment information.
5.3 Right to Refuse
As a hobby seller, I reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including if I cannot fulfil it due to material shortages, time constraints, or other limitations.

All prices are listed in EURO. As I am not a registered business, no VAT is added to my prices. I do not collect or remit sales tax.
6.2 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees that your country may charge. I have no control over these fees and cannot predict them.
6.3 Price Changes
I reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
7. Shipping
7.1 Processing Time
Because I make everything by hand, please allow 5 – 7 business days for me to create your item before shipping.
7.2 Shipping Carriers

7.3 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are estimates only. I am not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, weather, or other factors outside my control.

Once I hand your package to the carrier, my responsibility ends. I am not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping. However, I will do my best to help you file claims with the carrier if needed.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 No Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
Under EU consumer law, handmade and personalised items are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Because each piece is made uniquely for you, I do not accept returns for change of mind.
8.2 Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or defective (not due to shipping carrier), contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos. I will review and, at my discretion:

8.3 Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, photos, text, and content on this website are my property (or used with permission). You may not copy, reproduce, or resell my designs without my explicit permission.
You may: Share photos of my products on social media with credit to info@Lucentius.com
You may not: Claim my designs as your own, mass-produce copies, or use my photos for commercial purposes.

I make no warranties about the fitness of my products for any particular purpose
I make no warranties about the durability, longevity, or performance of handmade concrete items
I make no warranties about the safety of candles beyond the safety instructions provided
I make no warranties that my website will be error-free or uninterrupted
This does not affect your statutory rights. If a product is defective at delivery, I will address it as described in Section 8.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark/E.U. , without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from your purchase shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.

I may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. By continuing to use my website after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
